The 13-year-old Sohana Collins' skin is so delicate the slightest knock, bump or scratch causes blisters and painful third degree burns
Sohana Collins got to meet her heroes at the Pride of Britain Awards last night – and the honour was all theirs. The
crowd was moved to tears by the story of how the 13-year-old, who
suffers a genetic condition that means she is in constant pain, has
raised millions to help other children. She got to chat with football legend David Beckham backstage before he handed her the Teenager of Courage Award and rubbed shoulders with singer and actor Marvin Humes and Harry Potter star Rupert Grint.
Becks told her: “It’s a real honour to meet you. There are many reasons why we are proud to be British but this night tops them all."

Sohana has recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa – which makes her skin so fragile her parents are barely able to cuddle her.
The slightest knock or bump can cause third-degree burns and she has such trouble eating meals they have to be blended.
Mum Shamila, 46, said: “It is horrific, like medieval torture. She hides her pain.”
But Sohana, of North London, refuses to be held back and since 2011 she has raised £3.5million to support a treatment trial for 10 children.
One Direction sent a special video message with their own tongue twister: "Super special sensation Sohana she sells seashells on the sea floor, the shells she sells are real."
They finished by telling her: "You are one amazing girl"
And handing her the award was none other than Harry Potter star Rupert Grint who brought on a special witches broom for her.
